When it comes to working out, one thing that keeps me motivated while distracting me from the pain and exhaustion that I am experiencing is my music mix. Yes, y’all, a good gym mix can elevate your mood and increase your endurance. And coming up with the most effective workout mix isn’t as simple as you think. For me when selecting a good workout mix I look for tempo: the more upbeat the music is, the more I am able to run farther, or kick-box harder. The more I enjoy what I am listening to, the easier it is for me to get into my workout #beastzone. No other music gets me into that zone then my African Mix! Let me tell you, a little bit of Timaya or Psquare can be very stimulating in the gym! Trust me on this one!
