Ever find yourself in Toronto, Ontario wondering where to go to snap some awesome picturesque photo for your Instagram? Well, don’t fret because as always, I got you covered. This past Memorial Day Weekend my girls and I decided to celebrate this 4-day weekend doing what we do best---traveling!! We hopped into our car and took a road trip to Canada! It was my first time so I was pretty excited.
With only a few days to enjoy the city, we decided to scope out free Instagrammable spots. Hey, by now if you follow me on Instagram then you know how much my friends and I love taking pictures lol. And I am also the queen of experiencing life and creating moments on a budget, so it was absolutely fun to explore Toronto without having to spend an arm and a leg!.
Below are my top 3 free photogenic spots in Toronto and they are sure to make your Instagram pop! Enjoy!
By far my favorite spot in the city! Kensington lends itself to colorful artwork, old rustic but charming houses, graffiti walls and a bomb ass chicken and waffle spot (hey Dirtybird)! This neighborhood was so vibrant and eccentric! Don’t believe me? Check out my pics.
This is definitely a tourist destination in the city. The cobblestone roads, historic architecture and love locks will have you snapping away! So much to see and do at the #distillerydistrict. The District also offers tons of restaurants … and being near the harbor provides additional views.
Popular T.O. Sign
I mean how else would they know that I was in Toronto, unless I took a picture with the Gigantic Toronto sign (sigh) lol? This sign is located at Nathan Phillips Square and lights up during the night, which is absolutely spectacular to see. The T.O sign definitely provides a backdrop to both the old and new Toronto city hall - you can get architectural snaps in as well as selfies in front of the T.O. sign.
