As a little girl, reading was fundamental in my household. We didn’t have much, so reading provided a means to escape my realities for a moment, and imagine a world outside of my own. Now, as a grown woman, books have become a source of empowerment! a tool that motivates and encourages me to chase after my dreams and #fearlessly indulge in the things that set my soul on fire. I always say that the right book will inspire you to truly step outside of your comfort zone and live out your full potential.

Things I Wish I Knew Before My Mom Died by Ty Alexander
Ahhh the perfect book for anyone going through a grieving period. We all grieve in our own ways, and Ty provides instances that illustrate that there is no ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ way to grieve. In this soul-touching book, people who have lost loved ones can find solace in knowing that the love they have for the dearly departed will always remain.
