It happens to all of us, you wake up in the morning and instantaneously a 20-pound weight has found its way to the pit of your stomach. At this moment you have two choices:
1: Roll out of bed, and carry that weight around with you all day
2: Take a minute to reflect on why this feeling is there and THEN hop out of bed and start your day
While reflection may not immediately cause this extra weight to dissipate, it does allow us to call out whatever is making us anxious. More often than not, we tend to either push the things that bother us to the side or irrationally obsess over them. By taking a moment to accept why you feel this way you can take ownership over the weight and use it gain those Michelle Obama arms!
