Insatiable curiosity brought us together. We are all about experiences. Whether we are traveling through Africa, going to a Beyonce concert, or jumping in carnivals, we don’t just want to go to events around the world we want to experience them. We enjoy diving into other cultures and ideas so that we can live a life that embodies how we see the world around us. This is why we do what we do. Why do you?
BM: If I could live the rest of my life, traveling to different cities, living with the locals and understanding what life looks like for them, I would never look back. We are all here for a limited time, and our experiences are what determine who we will be in this life. I go to concerts, carnivals, and museums because sometimes it's the closest I’ll get to understanding how people view the world based on the images and memories that are hidden in the depths of their minds. I want to understand what makes you, you.
PL: I believe in finding something that you are absolutely passionate about and dedicating your entire being to it. I am a strong proponent in figuring out what your true calling is through the power of exploration and self-discovery. We all arrive at our purpose through various pathways, and for me, traveling the world, indulging in other cultures and crossing barriers of fear allows me to find my meaning and fulfillment in life.
BB: I am a big believer in a life well lived. For me, this is illustrated in the activities that I devote time, passion and energy into. Travel is one of the activities that I have invested my time and money in because there is nothing like getting off a plane, boat, car or train and feeling energized by the people in a particular place. The food, the music, language, how people express love, sadness, frustrations, all attack your senses and you either go with the flow and make the most of your trip or fight the changes and lose out on understanding a new culture and all it offers. Travel allows me to have a window into people's belief systems - I love talking about religions that are not my own and walking through how people’s faith makes them who they are. Travel allows for my curiosity to be sated in ways a book or documentary never could.
So, what drives you?
